Our Dentist – Sook Ling Leong

Dr Leong has recently re-joined our practice since retiring from running her own private Prosthodontic dental practice in Ryde, which she established and managed from 2010 to 2023. She is registered as a specialist Prosthodontist with the Dental Board for more than 20 years.

Dr Leong has worked in many private practices, as well as large corporate and public dental clinics. She has a wide range of clinical skills, not limited to prosthodontics, able to adapt to all types of clinical situations and settings. Sook Ling works together with the referring dentist as well as her specialist colleagues to treat each person.

During the time at her own practice, apart from providing dental care to patients of all ages, Dr Leong has focused on helping her patients overcome their anxiety (most of the time successfully without any sedation), given them the ability to be autonomous in driving their own direction for one’s oral health, and provided guidance for parents and children in achieving aesthetic outcomes.

Sook Ling enjoys getting to know the person and families who come along, as the value is seen in transforming each dental need or desire, by treating each person as a unique individual.
